I’ve personally bought (and sold) WoW gold for as long as I’ve played the game.
It’s simple, I’m a hardcore PvPer, and don’t have time to farm gold, raid, or so much else, and regularly need gold for gems, enchants, repairs, and so on.
In the last decade, I’ve never been banned, nor really had any issues, but I’ve heard stories of people buying millions and getting banned.
Personally I only buy a few thousand and never think about it again.
You don’t need to look to hard to find sellers, and admittedly, there’s not much in terms of scams out there, but what you will find, is variations of price, delivery speed, and availability.
I’ve personally used a handful of these sites and still do to this day, I like that G2G is a marketplace and you get to chat/build relationships with the sellers.
You can also ask them how fast they can deliver, and if they deliver face-to-face, as to not waste time waiting.
Prices can fluctuate sometimes but as of right now, you can get 500k Gold for under $20 on retail, and around $8 for 10,000 for Classic, and about $10 per 100 gold on hardcore/SOD.
